for the victoms of the south east asia quake

At least 11,000 people died after sea surges struck long stretches of the Sri Lankan coast on Sunday, officials say.
Many more people are reported missing and about a million are homeless. The government has declared a disaster.
Among the dead are at least 72 foreign tourists, the chairman of Sri Lanka's Tourist Board said.
Although 1,600km from the earthquake epicentre, waves struck Sri Lanka with great force, sweeping far inland. A huge search is underway for survivors.

apparantly the place i was in when the tidal wave happened was affected as well. the ponds started moving up and down. it was kind of scary, we didnt have a clue what was going on.

i went to a family reuniun type thing last night...omg, it was so much fun! my granny was really nice, and all my cousins talked to me about everything. Man, i wish i could do it all again, it was excellent!! ...i lied. it was TERRIBLE! i didnt wanna go there in the first place, but i was made to, seeing as how this would be like the first time ive seen them all in a whole year. my cousins all ignored me, but that was ok because i cant stand all of them except one. (the ones on my mums side of the family are SO much better!) and my granny...eeshhh...i was so pissed off at her. i KNOW i have a messed up accent, but she doesnt need to point it out constantly! i was talking to my grandad (who dressed up as santa..weee!!!) and i said something about the chair i was sitting on, and my granny was like "now, Johanna, when you come here you're going to stop staying char, and start saying chair." apart from the fact with her accent it sounded like cheer. so i just said "well i'd rather speak with my accent i have now than one of those disgusting new zealand accents." IN YOUR FACE!!

well. i am actually off shopping. in about half an hour. but right now i must say how excellent my brother is. he took me to a christmas concert! IT WAS SO BAD!! hahahaaaa...we were laughing so hard! but at least we got to see the new zealnd idol! Ben something...i didnt even know nz idol existed! hahaha....anyway, im gonna go into my bed now because i am absoutely freezing...toodle-ooo!! (:

im currently at my nanas. Ive been staying at my granny and grandads house for the past 2 nights though. I MISS BRUNEI! seriously, the moment i stepped off the plane, into auckland i missed it. aww!

Just went shopping. Boughts Jess, Charlie, and Hannah's christmas prezzies :) so now i just gonna get them for hana and nazzibadoogoo. lou and ummi were delt with earlier..teehee.

It was the most AWFUL flight over! the one from sydney to auckland. we had these japanese guys sitting in front of us. and OMFG! they were terrible!! like one had a sinus problem and he was snoring SO loud. seriously, i have never heard anyone snore like that. ok, picture the loudest snore you've ever heard, and multiply it by about 6. eek! it was awful! and then when we were about to land they jumped up and got really excited and started yelling at each other. goodness i was TERRIFIED!!

oo! just remembered, i got this awesome bikini! its bright pink, and i only bought the top, cos for the top and the bottom it wouldve been abut $50. so i only spent $25. its very nice...yep..

apprantly pauls back in brunei! waahh...i wanna go back! hes leaving before im back :( you guys better show me photos, ok? and arthurs coming back, and someone else...oh well...anyhoots, im gonna be off now...im going to eat some milk and cookies. oh how i love my nana :)

im off to gadong now. then to the airport. then on the plane for my monsterous jounrey! its BRUNEI - THAILAND - SYDNEY - AUCKLAND - CHRISTCHUCH! goodness gracious... very much not looking forward to it. i'll try to blog when im away, but my nanas computer might be to slow. so in case it is ill just say it now.

last day!

very upsetting day..it was Mr. Todgres last one at isb ): so funny, afterwards i went up to him and just like pointed, and he looked really confused. So i was just like "i never got taught by you, but you were the hottest teacher for sure!" teehee...he was just like "aww..thank yu! there wasnt much competition though, was there?" and he started laughing while i stood there blankly and he said he was joking. aww..

omg, the staff panto was awesome! it wasnt quite the same without mr mulleage though! it was red riding hood, staring mr elrick. hahah, he was so funny in the backstage area. i felt so sorry for ms bell! she was like on the verge of crying throughout the whole thing. amazingly, i managed not to cry! this is a first! afterwards i said bye to everyone and went up to my marmee's room, where i am now. so unfair that we have to study through the christmas holidays! yeesh...

i got an email from emily yesterday and its really depressing.

i jus realised dat i'm only seein u 4 less than 2 weeks an then i wont see u for years and years and years an that's to long!! plus after the summer hols i'll never be going back to brunei again ever....after the summer thats it! 8 weeks is all i gots left!!....u'll go back for hols an i wont be there.. nuuu!!! we hav 2 cram sooo much in2 2 weeks now.

im leaving in july..and her dad is leaving as well...how terrible...anyhoots, my eye has been red the whole day so mums gonna take me to the eye doctor.
